CEBU CITY, Dec 10 Asia Pulse - Philippine exporters of fashion accessories have successfuly expanded their market in Japan after a marketing mission last month.
A total of 15 fashion accessory exporters joined the mission, which was organized by the Fashion Accessories Manufacturers and Exporters (Fame).
According to Costume Jewelry Center executive director Miriam Bacalso, the participating firms booked orders amounting to a combined Pll.55 million (US$288,843) during the promotional activities held last Nov. ll-12 in Tokyo and Nov. 16-17 in Osaka.
In additon, sales under negotiation totaled P12.84 million ($320,900).
