The last place anyone expected to see Marty McSorley last night was on the Bruins power play.

Given his history, the more likely domain for McSorley was the penalty box. Only, in his Bruins debut, the longtime enforcer spent all of his time on the ice, taking a regular shift on defense.

There he was, manning the right point on a B's power play in the second period. Sergei Samsonov even scored on that man advantage.

Go figure.

McSorley has been a card-carrying member of the NHL's Fight Club for the past 16 seasons. But it was obvious watching last night, the B's have more in store for him than just his fists and muscle.
