CHICAGO, Dec. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Open Port Technology, Inc., announced today a new message routing technology that covers a broad range of message handling and distribution methods for both private and Internet-based message receipt systems. The new technology patent called "System and Method for Automated Received Message Handling and Distribution" (United States Patent, No. 5,974,414) covers intelligent routing of all message types, from voice, fax, and email to short message service (SMS) messages and pages.
