Raytheon Aircraft Company has completed the wing joining for the first Hawker Horizon, and development of the new super mid-size business jet continues to expand.

The aluminum wing arrived earlier this year in two pieces from Fuji Heavy Industries, a risk-sharing supplier for the Horizon program. With the left and right wing sections now joined, approximately one-third of the first Hawker Horizon is complete. The next step will be to assemble the main landing gear to the 61 foot-9-inch wing.
