PORTSMOUTH, N.H., Dec. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 700 AARP members from throughout New Hampshire seized the opportunity to ask some tough questions of Senator John McCain, a Republican candidate for President, during this morning's AARP "Meet the Candidate" event at Yoken's in Portsmouth. The issues on the minds of the seniors present resonated clearly: Medicare, Social Security, Long-term Care and patient protections in managed care. For about one hour, Senator McCain talked about these issues with AARP members, many of whom relayed emotional personal stories of hardship and concern.
