The big question in former Gov. William Weld's moving to New York isn't whether he'll run for guv down there or use the Big Apple as a launching pad for president. Nope, it's whether he'll be a Mets fan or a Yankee fan.
You can't be both. New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani doesn't even pretend to be neutral. He's a Yankee guy through and through.
Hillary Clinton, who horned in on Rudy by wearing a Yankee cap and posing with the World Series winners when they visited the White House, said she'd always loved the Bronx Bombers. As for years of pulling for her hometown team, the Chicago Cubs - she explained they're in a different league, same one as the Mets.
