Cubic Transportation Systems, a subsidiary of San Diego-based Cubic Corp. (AMEX:CUB), has designed the first smart card reader capable of processing three types of contactless smart cards, an innovation that will facilitate the mass transit industry's growing use of smart card technology.
Using the latest in Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, the Tri-Reader(TM) processes the ISO 14443 Type A, ISO 14443 Type B, and the Cubic GO CARD(R).
