If atmosphere could satisfy hunger, Shelly's Back Room would be a great place to eat.
The F Street bar and restaurant has a comfortable wood interior with seating areas that feature couches and an impressive wall of built-in cigar humidores. But the sandwich and salad lunch menu is hardly impressive fare. And the slow, inattentive service on a recent Thursday is likely to draw attention away from any business discussion.
For anyone planning to sit back with a cigar, Shelly's has plenty to offer.
