Score one for the Gipper. A huge one.
The massive Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center was dedicated yesterday with all the ruffles, flourishes and just plain class of the former president himself. Civility and affectionate nostalgia ruled - for an hour, anyway - among politicians and dignitaries of every demeanor.
"Ronnie has always believed that America's greatest monuments are the American people," Nancy Reagan told them. She wore her customary tailored red suit, a three-story-high American flag on the wall behind her.
