Southern Baptists will visit the Mormon stronghold of Salt Lake City later this week. But don't expect to see interfaith cooperation.
At best, the encounter will be a standoff. The occasion is the annual Southern Baptist Convention meeting, which each June brings about 12,000 Southern Baptists to the streets of an American city.
Baptists are handling their foray into Utah like an invasion into enemy territory.
