The Cyberpark of Santo Domingo will be a hi-tech free trade zone near the Santo Domingo airport which will also incorporate a technical training facility, the Technological Institute of the Americas, according to a recent report from the American Embassy-Santo Domingo:
?President Fernandez broke ground for the Cyberpark on October 26 and it is expected to be in operation by 2001. The Cyberpark is a joint project of the Dominican Government and the local private sector, in partnership with international investors;
