Dec. 30--Charter Behavioral Health System, a psychiatric hospital chain controlled by Crescent Operating of Fort Worth, is the target of an expanded federal investigation.
The action was disclosed this week in a government filing by Magellan Health Services, which holds a 10 percent stake in Charter. Crescent holds the other 90 percent.
Charter, based in the suburban Atlanta area, operates 77 psychiatric hospitals in the United States, including one in Grapevine.
