Northwest Health System's CEO officially assumes his new duties on Jan. 3.

William L. Bradley was named president and chief executive officer for the hospital system, which includes Northwest Health System in Springdale and Bates Medical Center in Bentonville.

The system had been without a CEO since September when Greg K. Stock left to return to Louisiana. Stock had held the hospitals' top position since December 1997.
