Lately, we've been bombarded with television ads for prescription and over-the- counter medicines.
There are beautiful scenes of a grandfather lovingly playing with his grandchildren, all because a new medicine has helped him keep his cholesterol in check.
Another one has a woman running through flower-filled fields as she breathes in the wonderful fresh air without suffering an allergy attack.
It all looks so cutting-edge and revolutionary.
I have found it easy to look at the pretty pictures, think about the relief this will all bring _ and not pay attention to the voice-over.
