Printers participating in Printing Industries of America Inc.'s Quarterly Print Market Survey sponsored by MAN Roland experienced sales growth of 7.6 percent through the first three quarters of 1999 compared to year-earlier levels. This rate is up from 6.6 percent in the first quarter and matches the 7.5 percent in the second quarter. The U.S. economy's growth rate of 4.8 percent in the third quarter was the highest quarterly rate of the year surpassing the 3.7 and 1.9 percent growth rates of the first and second quarters.
