Satellite TV antennas have always been for only the largest yachts, but now you can have crystal-cleat reception even if your boat is as small as 30'. Sea Tel, Inc. has just introduced the Model 1898 system, its centerpiece an antenna that lives under a dome not much bigger than that of a 2 kW radar scanner.
