An Invitation
Perspectives of New Music affirms its traditional commitment to composers, performers, scholars, and all others interested in any kind of contemporary music. We exclude nothing categorically--indeed, one of our traditions is to present articles of worth which, for reasons such as technical difficulty or unorthodox form or subject, do not appeal to other journals. We are especially interested in material on current music, including the music itself; and, more generally, in anything (including studies of the musical traditions of the past) which may be useful to or inspirational for musical thinkers and doers of the future.
