1999 DEC 27 - (NewsRx.com) -- In the largest study ever to compare outcomes of cancer patients transplanted with marrow versus stem cells, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center researchers have found that for certain patients, stem cells offer clear advantages.
Results were presented at the 41st annual American Society of Hematology meeting December 3-7 in New Orleans, Louisiana.
