JNI Corporation (Nasdaq:JNIC) and IBM (NYSE:IBM) today announced that JNI's FibreStar(TM) FCE-6420D(TM) 2 Gigabit-per-second (2 Gb/s) PCI Fibre Channel host bus adapter (HBA) is being used by IBM to develop current and future versions of its 1- and 2-Gb/s Ultrastar(TM) line of Fibre Channel hard drives.
