LOS ANGELES - Disenchanted by the media congestion and press conference overkill of the auto show in Detroit, many automakers have scheduled product introductions at this week's Greater Los Angeles Auto Show. They hope these products, which might be overlooked in Detroit, will get sufficient media attention to warrant the cost of their elaborate productions. This is a dramatic change from past years, when the Los Angeles show was mostly seen as a forum for green vehicle introductions. General Motors plans several introductions:
