There are many millennium books for kids on the market right now, including some of the coffee-table variety. Here are three of the nicer ones:

``The Century for Young People'' is an adaptation of the authors' ``The Century,'' the in-depth look at the past 100 years. It is shorter, has bigger print and is without all of ``The Century's'' personal stories and background information. It has been rewritten in language aimed at children. The book is divided into 12 chapters, each focusing on a time period.
