NEW DELHI, Jan 6 Asia Pulse - Indian roller flour millers have sought import duty exemption on nearly one million tonnes of wheat contracted by them prior to the imposition of a hefty 50 per cent duty on the grain early last month.
Millers from the South, who were importing large quantities of wheat to meet their requirements, have made a representation through the apex body Roller Flour Millers Federation of India (RFMFI) to the government in this regard, federation executive secretary S P Vittal said.
