WHAT: Due to unseasonable weather, the opening date of the 18th annual Plymouth International Ice Sculpture Spectacular has been changed to Thursday, January 13, 2000.
WHEN: All events will take place as scheduled starting January 13, 2000.
WHO: Professional, student and amateur carvers from all over North America will compete for $10,000 in prizes. All competitions will take place in Kellogg Park and the Parking Structure across from Kellogg Park during the weekend.
WHY: 400,000 pounds of ice has arrived and is presently in Plymouth in refrigerated trucks. The carving of the display pieces commenced on January 10.
