SANTA CRUZ, Calif.--(BSUINESS WIRE)--Jan. 11, 2000
Plantronics, Inc. (NYSE: PLT) today announced record revenue and earnings for the third quarter of fiscal 2000. Third quarter revenues totaled $76.1 million, compared to $72.0 million in the third quarter of fiscal 1999.
Earnings improved year over year driven by increases in revenue and reductions in product cost and interest expense. Net income in the third quarter was $15.4 million in comparison to the $14.4 million earned in the third quarter of fiscal 1999.
