Jan. 9--Michael Crosby is no stranger to doing battle with corporate America.
Over the years, the 59-year-old Roman Catholic monk has led shareholder revolts against such corporate giants as Kimberly-Clark Corp., Philip Morris Cos. and General Electric Co. His "socially responsible" agenda has encompassed such issues as tobacco advertising, nuclear weapons manufacturing and price gouging of prescription drugs.
