PROJECT OVERVIEW

The local ROYAL COMMISSION FOR JUBAIL & YANBU recently awarded a substation construction contract to HADI HAIDER CO. of Saudi Arabia. According to the terms of the award, the Saudi company will be responsible for building a 115 Kv facility to be sited in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia.

The project will involve the supply of: - A gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) substation; - Associated feeders; - A 115 Kv underground cable.

The cost to complete the planned project has been pegged at $48,000,000.
