Jan. 12--FORT WORTH, Texas--The Hispanic Television Network added 10 TV stations in Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arizona yesterday, increasing its portfolio to 16 Spanish-language stations serving about 20 million households.
The purchase, announced in December, is valued at $10 million. HTVN also owns and operates American Independent Network, which provides English-language programming to 60 stations serving about 40 million households in areas such as Chicago; Washington, D.C.; Detroit; Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; and New Orleans.
