PROJECT OVERVIEW: The MINISTRY OF HOUSING, UTILITIES & NEW COMMUNITIES Recently awarded a highway construction contract to the local state-owned EL-NASR GENERAL CONTRACTING CO. (HASSAN ALLAM). According to the terms of the award, EL-NASR will be responsible for building a section of the international coastal highway.
The project in question consist of a 40 km-long, dual motorway, that links the Cairo-Alexandria agricultural road to the Rosetta bridge. In so doing, the Egyptian company will reportedly build 5 bridges incorporating a total span of some 4 kms.
