Two cases against attorney Geoffrey Fieger are scheduled for hearings next month before the Michigan Attorney Grievance Commission. In all, three different cases involving Fieger are pending. The Grievance Commission functions as investigator and prosecutor of allegations of lawyer misconduct in Michigan. The Discipline Board appoints panels to serve as trial courts for these cases. The board acts as an appeals court, while the state Supreme Court makes final decisions on a lawyer's status. Lawyers can receive reprimands, suspensions or license revocations. Fieger's three cases:
