Although most Latin American territories are frequently lumped together and considered one region with a common denominator (language), each market within Latin America is unique in its programming and promotion needs; hence, the growth of conferences aimed to address those needs. Four years ago, SPORTEL organizers added SPORTELAmerica in Miami to its venue in Monte Carlo. Likewise, tapping into this market need, organizers from PROMAX and BDA (the Promotions and Broadcast Designers' Association) opted to expand their market to Latin America last year.
