Jan. 14--Latin rhythms could help drown out financial worries at the city-owned Miami Arena, arena managers said Thursday.
A recent market study from Leisure Management International, the arena's manager, points to Latin music concerts as one of the more promising ways to successfully reposition the 12-year-old facility. By installing curtain dividers to accommodate more intimate concerts and making other changes, "Miami Arena would be in a position to serve as the Miami headquarters for Latin music," the study said.
