Jan. 18--FORT WORTH, Texas--The Fort Worth Convention and Visitors Bureau is hoping to cash in on a group of religious conference managers who are looking for a Western-themed night on the town.
On Feb. 2, the Fort Worth bureau is herding more than 700 delegates from the Religious Conference Management Association conference onto buses in Dallas and bringing them to Fort Worth for a barbecue dinner and rodeo. It will be the first time that Fort Worth has entertained the group in 14 years. Bureau officials hope to land some future shows from the group, whose members represent billions of dollars in business.
