Jan. 18--Caterpillar Inc. will sell 122 of its hydraulic excavators to the China National Technical Import Corp., Caterpillar announced.
The contract between the Chinese corporation and Caterpillar China Limited was signed last Friday. The value of the deal was not disclosed.
The excavators will be used in the Sanjiang Plain Agricultural Development Profject in Heilongjiang. The excavators were funded by the Overseas Economic Cooperation Fund for project owner Heilongjiang State Farm Bureau, according to a Caterpillar news released.
The Cat 320BL excavators will be delivered in the second quarter of this year. They will be manufactured in Japan ...
