Created in 1991, the Center for Task Force Training (CenTF) provides specialized training to law enforcement personnel serving on drug task forces. The Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice, administers the program and provides funds either through grants or state or local funds.
The CenTF strives to increase the operational effectiveness of task forces in two areas: task force command and methamphetamine investigation management.
