Black holes, once seen as a hypothetical consequence of some arcane maths, are now turning up everywhere. They may, indeed, shape the visible universe
ASK a person in the street what first comes to mind when the words "theory of relativity" are mentioned, and the chances are that the answer will be "E=mc(sup2)".
