BALTIMORE, Jan. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- More than 150 CEOs, managers and professionals from the region have responded to an appeal from two leading business organizations for volunteers to join a private-sector cadre of executives that will conduct management and efficiency studies of five key Baltimore City government agencies.
In December Mayor Martin O'Malley asked the GBC, the region's most prominent organization of business leaders, to partner with the Presidents' Roundtable, an organization of leading minority CEOs, to conduct studies of the departments of public works, housing and community development, health, recreation and parks, and fire.
