WASHINGTON, Jan. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Family calling plans offered by cellular carriers will explode in popularity in the next five years, The Strategis Group, a Washington, D.C.-based research and consulting firm, predicts.
Subscribers to family plans will grow from 200,000 today to nearly 18 million by 2004, The Strategis Group says in its US Dispatch Markets report. Family calling plans allow family members to share one calling plan with discounted airtime rates and speed dialing so they may contact each other quickly and easily.
