MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Freddie Mac announced improvements to its award-winning adoption benefits program, considered one of the best in the nation. For 20 years, Freddie Mac has provided employees with adoption costs reimbursement up to the cost of childbirth in the Washington, D.C. area. In addition, eligible employees can now take up to 30 business days (6 weeks) of paid leave to care for a newly adopted child, as with a typical natural birth.
