ATLANTA -- Apparel-related properties owned by Miller Freeman are up for sale in accordance with a strategy set by its parent company, UK-based United News & Media, to focus on building its core markets, notably in the high-tech and Internet areas.
The Bobbin Group is among those businesses being divested, with all its trade shows and conferences. Other apparel-related shows on the sales block include the Imprinted Sportswear Show (ISS) and Action Sports Retailer (ASR). A spokeswoman for Miller Freeman in San Francisco said the shows would not be interrupted, but would go on as scheduled.
