WILTON, Conn., Jan. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In price battles between Internet, store, and catalog, consumers have identified the winners and the losers in recent Greenfield Online research studies. Catalogs are hurt the most when it comes to price perceptions.

Only 4 percent of 3,000 online consumers believe catalogs offer better prices than the Internet. Stores fair better in these price perceptions, with 1 in 5 believing that stores offer better prices. But with all the e-tail destinations people can click to, 50 percent of online shoppers today believe the Internet is the place where in general they are able to find the lowest prices.
