PORT TOWNSEND, Wash.--(ENTERTAINMENT WIRE)--Jan. 27, 2000

Michael Webster, a 42-year veteran of the animation industry and a respected producer/executive who established Disney's Television Animation division in 1984 and led it to great success under his leadership, passed away at his home in Port Townsend on Saturday, Jan. 15.

Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in the late '80s, he succumbed to complications from pneumonia. He was 60 years old.
