FLCM FACING REVOCATION AS UMBULAN PROJECT INVESTORS. The East Java governor has threatened to scrap First Liberty Capital Management Inc. (FLCM) from being an investor for the Umbulan clean water project over dispute with PT Mandala Citra Umbulan (MCU), which previously was awarded the project. The threat by the governor followed statement by MCU that it would sue FLCM on charge of stealing the project document and defamation. The document allegedly stolen by FLCM included design details, feasibility study and contract documents. FLCM is also charged with defamation for saying MCU as being tainted with KKN in seeking license from NKPM. (BI/26/VII/99)
