BIGGEST INCREASES IN SQUARE FOOTAGE

Of the 25 property management firms on the list, 20 reported increases in square footage managed out of the Chicago office. U.S. Equities Realty Inc. led the group with a 48.4% jump from the 1995 figure.

LARGEST THIRD-PARTY PROPERTY MANAGERS

Ten of the firms on the list manage property entirely for third parties. LaSalle Partners Ltd. leads that group with 35.0 million square feet. Inland Property Management Group Inc. is the only listed firm that manages less than 1.0 million square feet for third parties.
