Aboard vs 009, Nov. 16, 1999-This is a tale of the Virgin miracle and the broken Windows.
The Virgin miracle is the offspring of Richard Branson, a man who, up until a few moments ago, was sitting 10 rows behind me, but who appears to have taken off behind the curtain to chat with his customers in the economy class cabin of this flight from London to New York.
The broken Windows is the operating system that controls the turbulence-buffeted laptop on which I am typing this combination billet doux and curse.
