MEXICO CITY, Jan. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- TV Azteca, S.A. de C.V. (NYSE: TZA; BMV: TVAZTCA), one of two broadcast television companies in Mexico, today announced the results of the shareholders assembly held yesterday.

The 11 directors nominated to Azteca's board were all approved by the assembly. As previously announced, these directors include five independent board members:

-- Ambassador James Jones, Counsel to Manatt, Phelps & Philips and

Chairman of GlobalRanger.com.
