FOSTER CITY, Calif., Jan. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- FaceTime Communications, the leader in Instant Messaging-based business applications, today announced it has received $30 million in mezzanine funding from TH Lee.Putnam Internet Partners (THLi), Compaq (NYSE: CPQ), Novell (Nasdaq: NOVL), Sumitomo and prior investors. The funding, led by THLi, will be used to accelerate the company's marketing and development efforts, expand the sales force and begin operations in international markets.
