Harcourt, Inc. and Thomson Learning have announced an even-value exchange of assets between Harcourt's college publisher and Wadsworth, a division of Thomson Learning, effective immediately. Harcourt is receiving Wadsworth's entire freshman and developmental English list of more than 40 titles, while Wadsworth receives approximately 100 Harcourt College titles in education. This even transfer of assets results in stronger and more focused publishing programs for both companies.
