The wunderkind is six when after a trip to the Zoo he announces to his parents that henceforth he'll be devoting himself to the study of the world's fauna.
Henceforth he evinces interest in little else.
Tiptoeing to bed lest they disturb him & provoke one of his rages his parents wonder, "Is this obsession healthy?" The wunderkind stays up all night reading zoological tomes. Eventually they seek professional advice.
A child psychologist closets herself for hours with the wunderkind who reluctantly reveals his project to her.
"He's writing a bestiary. It's 200 pages long already, but he begs to be excused from showing it to anyone until ...
