Actor Sidney Poitier is profiled on the upcoming American Masters documentary, "Sidney Poitiers: One Bright Light," which premieres on PBS TV Feb. 2 (check local listings).
With humor, warmth and a great deal of charm, Poitier reflects on his years in the movie industry that have spanned half a century and 55 roles.
The one-hour documentary also includes comments from Quincy Jones, Denzel Washington, Robert Townsend and directors Stanley Kramer, Norman Jewison and Poitiers wife, Joanna Shimkus Poitier.
