HANOI, Feb 2 Asia Pulse - Made-in-Vietnam goods are claiming a respectable portion of shopping baskets in Hanoi as people flock to the markets to prepare for the Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

In Hanoi, purchasing power is increasing, with State-run businesses expecting a 15 percent increase in turnover over last year's Tet period. However, the Ministry of Trade said that market prices are stable thanks to the growing popularity of readily-available domestic goods.
